This position reports to: Digital Eco System Specialist
The Digital Solution Engineering Specialist is accountable for contributing to the definition, development, and lifecycle management of digital and software solutions, including applications and product customizing tools, within the Home Solutions portfolio.
The role supports the execution of the Business Line strategy by ensuring digital offerings are aligned with market needs, deliver clear customer value, and contribute to sustainable growth.

The work model for the role is: Hybrid / remote. This role is contributing to the success of Business Line Home Solutions in Europe and Middle East. The main stakeholders are local sales and product marketing organizations, Product Portfolio Managers, IT, R&D and operation units.

Key Responsibilities:
Coordinates and supports market intelligence and customer requirement analysis across regions and target segments
Owns and maintains market and technical specifications for assigned digital and software solutions
Acts as a key interface between the market and internal stakeholders, including R&D, marketing, IT, sales, and operations
Contributes to the definition of product and system roadmaps, including technical requirements, cost targets, and capital expenditure assumptions
Drives and supports go to market activities, including product positioning, internal and external communication, and training materials
Develops and delivers high quality PowerPoint presentations for management reviews, project decisions, and customer facing engagements, ensuring clear, structured, and impactful storytelling
Defines and communicates the customer value proposition for assigned projects and solutions
Collaborates cross functionally to ensure effective execution of projects in line with agreed scope, quality, and timelines
Contributes to innovation initiatives in product customization solutions to improve competitiveness and customer experience

Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Marketing, or Business Economics
Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in software development or digital solutions, preferably in a manufacturing or product customization environment. Experience working in agile development frameworks
Solid knowledge of development and collaboration tools such as JIRA, Polarion, Confluence, and Azure DevOps (or equivalent)
Advanced PowerPoint and presentation skills, with the ability to structure complex content and address different stakeholder levels with impactful storytelling
Fluent in English, written and spoken. German language skills are considered an advantage
Ability to work effectively in international and multicultural environments
Resilient, well organized, and able to manage multiple priorities
Willingness to travel as required
