Your daily routine would include:

Ensure the smooth operation and optimization of our data lakes, maintaining data availability, accuracy, and security.
Support data ingestion, transformation, and reporting processes.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure efficiency and reliability.
Collaborate with data engineers and IT teams to align with organizational data strategies.
Manage data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
Ensure compliance with data governance policies and industry regulations.
Provide regular updates on system performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

We’ll know you can make it if you have:

3+ years of experience in data platform operations, data management, or a related field;
Experience with Shell scripting;
Proficiency in data technologies such as Hadoop, Kafka, Spark, Airflow, and/or Azure Synapse;
Strong understanding of ETL processes and data architecture;
Good orientation in Linux environments;
Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL);
Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).

Nice to have:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field;
Experience with scripting languages like Python;
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills;
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across teams;
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
