As an EU Benefits Specialist at Sensata, you will support the delivery of competitive, compliant and employee-focused benefits across the European region.
Working with HR, internal stakeholders and external providers, you will help ensure our benefit plans are well administered, clearly communicated and aligned with local market practice, legislative requirements and Sensatas commitment to employee wellbeing
Responsibilities
- Administer, review and improve employee benefits programmes across the European region, ensuring they remain competitive, compliant and aligned with employee needs.
- Coordinate health, life, accident, disability, pension and other locally relevant benefits in partnership with HR colleagues, internal stakeholders and external providers.
- Support benefits queries and process delivery across countries, promoting a consistent and positive employee experience.
- Prepare benefits survey submissions, review market data and contribute to benchmarking activities.
- Analyse benefits costs, trends and programme changes to support decision-making and budget planning.
- Develop clear employee communications regarding benefit plans, policy updates, enrolment activities and programme changes.
- Handle employee and provider information with accuracy, confidentiality and compliance with country-specific requirements.
Experience / Qualifications
- University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience in employee benefits, HR operations, compensation and benefits, payroll, or a generalist HR role with exposure to benefits processes.
- Understanding of benefits administration, compliance, confidentiality and the importance of accurate employee data.
- Strong analytical skills, with confidence working with reports, market survey inputs and cost-related information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with HR systems or benefits platforms would be an advantage.
- Well-organised and able to manage priorities, deadlines and multiple stakeholders in a regional environment.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain benefits information in a practical, employee-friendly way.
- Collaborative working style, with the ability to build effective relationships with HR colleagues, employees, managers and external providers.
- High level of integrity, accountability and attention to detail when handling sensitive employee information.
Essential Criteria:
At least 2 years of benefits experience is required (or HR experience with an appreciation of benefits).
An understanding of the UK market and local regulations is highly preferable, and familiarity with our EU countries is desirable.
Desirable Criteria:
Program management skills is a plus
Workday knowledge is a plus
Gross Annual Salary Range:
19,634.00 - 26,996.00
The salary range is published in line with the EU Pay Transparency Directive and relevant country legislation.
Starting Salary
The starting salary offered will be based on objective, gender-neutral criteria , (e.g internal equivalency, relevant skills, experience, qualifications etc.). Applicants will not be asked for salary history.
