Overview:
The Execution Specialist Coffee will be part of a growing hub based
in Sofia for the LDC Coffee Division in EMEA. This role will manage
the full execution process for assigned customers in the region,
ensuring smooth contract fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
This role requires hands-on coordination and efficient
communication with internal teams, external stakeholders, and
customers to maintain operational excellence, compliance, and
efficient logistics execution.
Job Description:
Account Management responsibility of the full execution flow for a
selection of assigned customers in EMEA.
Direct relationship with assigned customers to ensure good
fulfillment of contracts and service performance. This may include
local travel to meet counterparts in customer teams.
Liaise with Traders, Freight Desk and LDC coffee origins for
required support to the execution of the trade.
Coordinate with treasury, banks, and trade finance to assist on
documentary collection process.
Claim management and identification of potential problems in the
execution of the assigned customers.
Become an expert of the business execution flows and processes,
including the operational transactions in the central ERP.
Manage the Shipping Instructions process with buyers and/or Freight
Desk for timely execution, escalating to Marketing when
necessary.
Supervise the open position for assigned customers, including
sample status, shipment instructions, booking confirmations,
documentary presentations, collection and PnL impact.
Ensure compliance of the contract management policy and any other
company and platform policies.
Provide extensive reporting support on execution status to Traders
and Customers.
Ensure close coordination with 3PL to comply with contract dates
according to the sales incoterms ranging from FOB until
CIF/EWH/FCA/DAP and DDP. The delivery terms require close
coordination with warehouses and trucking companies to manage
timely deliveries
Trade support role
Maintain a claim tracking control, aiding the discussion progress
and ensuring timely responses.
Gain an understanding of contract costings and hence the impacts of
contract adjustments
Ensure Sales teams are aware of potential execution issues and
solutions that can be offered to clients.
Log of dates for Shipping Instructions, sampling, bookings,
rolling, documentary presentation and claims.
Bachelor’s in economics, Business, International Trade, Supply
Chain or related fields.
Preferably 2 to 5 years in international trade or graduate with
trainee experience.
Experience managing imports of physical flows into EU or MEA
Have a good understanding of the Coffee (or similar) market as it
pertains to the role will be considered as a plus
Expertise in international commerce, import and export process and
customs regulations
Other Skills
High proficiency skills in Microsoft Excel and database systems
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload to meet
deadlines under pressure
Self-starter with ability to work independently with minimal
supervision
Effective communication skills, both written and oral
Good interpersonal skills to coordinate work with multiple
stakeholders.
General understanding of financial and accounting principles
Detail oriented
English – Fluent (speaking, reading, writing); Any other European
language a plus
