Our client is a well-known international company operating in the
oil and gas industry. For them we are looking for a highly
motivated and responsible professional for the position of
Financial Assistant.
The Financial Assistant requires an end-to-end understanding of
real estate processes to effectively execute essential property
management tasks, particularly those related to financial
administration and reporting. This role includes ownership and
maintenance of critical property management data and processes,
such as budgeting, data analysis, accounts receivable, and accounts
payable. The Financial Assistant serves as the first point of
accountability internally and externally for real estate matters
across the assigned property portfolio.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee day-to-day property management activities for the
property portfolio;
• Manage relationships with co-locators, including participating
in contract negotiations when required;
• Support the implementation of co-locator strategies to
maximize income through cold calling, liaising with external
partners, and adopting best practices;
• Represent the company in meetings with local authorities as
needed;
• Manage payment and invoice processes related to real estate
transactions, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of payables and
receivables;
• Handle daily real estate tasks such as lease administration,
invoice processing, credit notes, dispute resolution, and system
troubleshooting;
• Perform month- and year-end closings, inflation escalation
calculations, financial postings, and system entries in alignment
with Mobility Finance;
• Provide full administrative support for real estate
operations, including acquisitions, lease renewals, contract
extensions, disposals, records management, and payment
processing;
• Address issues and manage correspondence with neighbors,
landlords, local authorities, and tenants, escalating as
necessary;
• Ensure timely payment of taxes and fees and optimize tax
compliance according to regulations;
• Manage contracts with private companies for garbage fee
arrangements, including invoice payments;
• Maintain full administrative control over internal systems,
including contract archiving and records management, acting as the
Records Management Focal Point for the Mobility Network;
• Analyze real estate financial reports and databases, including
preparing and reporting budgets;
• Support CAPEX financing processes by preparing and submitting
accurate calculations on time;
• Coordinate HSSE (Health, Safety, Security & Environment)
compliance by regularly ensuring tenant adherence to applicable
rules;
• Collaborate with local and external delivery teams to validate
data and ensure efficient and compliant Real Estate Property
Management (REPM) processes.
Qualifications and Skills:
• University degree;
• Background in accounting or real estate business
preferred;
• Basic financial skills with 2–3 years of relevant
experience;
• Knowledge of RE-FX system and streamlined property management
processes is a plus;
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel; experience with SAP is
advantageous;
• Legal knowledge (e.g., understanding and interpreting
contracts) is a plus;
• Experience working with databases is advantageous;
• Structured and organized approach with strong attention to
detail;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Fluency in English.
