For our partner, an international company importer of new cars and
spare parts, we are looking for a motivated and responsible
professional to join their team for the role of
FINANCIAL CONTROLLER EXPERT
This is a crucial role for the organization and the person will be
a key element for the success and
effectiveness of the finance department. This position will work
together with the Chief Accountant and the CFO. The person will go
into details about other departments Sales and After-sale and dive
in into the automotive industry operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Developing and documenting business processes and accounting
policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls;
Ensuring quality control over the financial transactions and
financial reporting;
Identifying areas for process improvement and implementing
solutions to optimize financial operations;
Analysing the monthly accruals (the necessary reversals and support
the new accruals for posting);
Controlling of the yearly accruals, the reversals, and the actual
annual result;
Weekly and monthly analysis of the company`s result and
reconciliation of the information in the
stock program and SAP;
Managing accounts receivable to ensure timely payment of the
outstanding payments and
supervising accounts payable processes;
Gaining a deep understanding of the company's financial
processes, systems, and procedures;
Analysing and managing the weekly cash flow to support business
operations;
Analysing purchases, sales and net booked value for cars and spare
parts posted automatically
from the stock program into SAP;
Analysing the available stock of the cars and the spare parts in
SAP and the stock program;
Analysing and validating the discounts calculated by the sales
department – monitoring the issued
invoices and the monthly accruals to ensure accurate monthly
financial result;
Supporting the budgeting and forecasting process together with the
Finance Director and the
Chief Accountant;
Supporting the annual independent audit process and the Chief
Accountant during tax audits.
REQUIREMENTS:
University degree in Finance or Accounting;
3+ years of experience in accounting and/or financial analysis;
A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting
principles;
Comprehensive knowledge of financial instruments, IAS, IFRS,
taxation and financial regulations;
Excellent knowledge of Bulgarian tax legislation;
Excellent computer literacy – MS office (Excel, Word, Power
Point);
Good level of English - written and spoken;
Analytical thinking and possessing a high degree of initiative and
autonomy;
Good communication skills and a team player.
