As a Head of Production, you will need to:
University degree in Engineering or any similar education;
At least 5 years or more of experience in a management role,
preferably technical area of the industry and ideally automotive
industry;
Excellent knowledge of different business functions – Process
management, Planning Fulfilment, Engineering, Final Inspection,
Transport and Logistics, HR management, etc.;
Fluent in English (Written and Verbal);
Good computer literacy (Microsoft Office package);
Target oriented, strong communication, motivation, and leadership
skills.
Your key responsibilities
Oversee and manage the full production process, from planning to
execution, including drafting and adjusting production
schedules.
Ensure cost-effective production and support process optimization
with input from the production and process development teams.
Lead process design and equipment selection for new projects, in
collaboration with the
Maintenance and Process Development teams.
Supervise the application and timing of maintenance activities to
ensure continuous production flow.
Monitor production performance, define standard times, and
implement corrective actions to improve efficiency.
Ensure product quality through cooperation with the Quality
Department and by setting and maintaining quality standards.
Coordinate human and material resources by leading the Assembly
Supervisor and aligning with planners.
Promote compliance with health and safety regulations, labor laws,
and company policies.
Motivate, train, and develop production staff, identifying skill
gaps and promoting continuous improvement.
Analyze non-conformities and implement corrective and preventive
actions to reduce quality-related costs.
