The Junior Financial Risk Analyst, will support financial risk management services in commodity, foreign exchange risks and trading profit and loss for selected businesses, processes and countries. In this role, you will act as a primary analyst for selected processes in various countries. The role will also include interaction with various commercial and other teams. You will work with various systems and tools, will familiarize with the existing reporting technologies.
Complete commodity and foreign exchange position reporting and reconciliation. Initiate and confirm margin calls/recalls. Reconcile trading profit and loss by line of impact.
Ensure any significant differences are resolved and communicated appropriately. Complete the reporting within deadlines and compare against limits, escalate breaches, and get resolution in collaboration with business stakeholders.
Ensure all internal controls and financial processes are followed and performed in a timely and accurate manner.
Complete activities within compliance of internal and external organizational and regulatory guidelines, policies and requirements.
Participate in process improvement projects, lead cross trainings of more junior associates and new team members and cross train with other team members to provide backup for critical tasks.
Drive reporting operational and improvement activities.
Take initiatives and provide support for multiple roles in the area of Trade Product Control.
Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
