Job Purpose:

Passionate about shaping the future of telecommunications in an international environment? Have a knack for basic networking technologies like IP and WDM? We're on the lookout for a diligent Network Planning Engineer to join our team responsible for managing the international network in Europe, where you'll have the opportunity to work with leading telecommunication vendors like Nokia and Huawei, interacting with equipment such as Nokia 7750 and Huawei OSN1800.

Role insights:

  • Design, plan, and fine-tune international network setups for Transport & IP implementation projects across Europe.
  • Utilize knowledge of basic networking technologies including IP, WDM, fiber optics, and network topologies to develop efficient solutions for customers.
  • Collaborate with international teams to meet business goals and standards.
  • Keep track of equipment, handle orders, and manage inventory for the European networks.
  • Consider economic aspects and cost-efficiency when designing network solutions, balancing technical requirements with business impact.

What makes you unique:

  • Familiarity with basic networking tools and concepts.
  • Understanding of fiber optics, SFPs and related products.
  • Ability to follow processes and standards closely.
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • English B1/B2 required.
  • German knowledge is a strong advantage.
