Lead Engineer of the Data Analytics and BI Team

Some of your responsibilities:

In this position, you will have the opportunity to design, build the architecture, and implement key datasets. You'll be responsible for finding and analyzing data using SQL and other BI tools, as well as monitoring existing data and answering critical questions in a data-driven manner. Part of your duties will include developing queries for ad-hoc requests and reviewing data analytics-related procedures and documents for continuous improvement. As the lead person on the team, you will manage the daily operations of the Data Analytics and BI team, working closely with the Product Management and Software Development teams to determine the necessary metrics, reports, and analyses.

Experience:

Required skills, knowledge, and experience for the role:

- Previous professional experience as a Lead Engineer (8+ years) and Tech Lead (1+ years) in Bi/ Reporting/Analytics roles;
- Professional experience in DWH and DB optimizations, ETL processes;
- Knowledge of one or more of the following: QuickSight, Tableau, QlikView, PowerBI;
- Enthusiastic about working with the latest AWS tools i.e. AWS Glue, Redshift, S3,
- Ability to enable users to use data to back up assumptions, develop business cases, and complete root cause analyses;
- Very good command of the English language due to the fact you will work closely with colleagues overseas.
