Your daily routine would include:
- Install, set up, and maintain Linux servers and systems, ensuring high availability and performance to minimize downtime and support business continuity.
- Monitor system performance to guarantee dependability and availability.
- Maintain frequent system backups and recovery methods.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues.
- Implement and maintain system security measures to protect sensitive data and prevent costly security breaches.
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to create and deploy innovative solutions that enhance overall IT infrastructure and support business growth.
- Maintain documentation of system setups, procedures, and processes to ensure knowledge retention, regulatory compliance, and smooth team transitions.
- Apply patches, upgrades, and security updates promptly to keep systems up to date, reducing vulnerabilities and maintaining compliance.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and security settings to ensure secure access and data privacy.
- Monitor and analyze logs to detect and address any issues proactively, preventing potential system failures and ensuring seamless operations.
We’ll know you can make it if you have:
- Several years of experience in the Enterprise environment, focusing on Linux open source technologies as an administrator.
- Knowledge in the use of common automation technologies and system management software (e.g. Redhat/Rocky, Ubuntu, RH Satelite, Ansible, SALT, RedHat IPA).
- Solution-oriented skills and offer structured and independent working ethics.
- Efficiently produce and manage IT services due to your comprehensive expertise in the cross-section of the infrastructure stack.
- You convince others due to your customer and service orientation as well as your outstanding communication and presentation skills.
- ITIL Foundation or Linux certifications.
