Job Purpose:
The Linux Platform Engineer is responsible for the operation, security, and lifecycle management of the company’s DNS infrastructure. The role covers Infrastructure, OS and service management of authoritative DNS, recursive resolver platforms (fixed and mobile), internal DNS systems, and DNS-based security services within a business-critical, high-availability environment.
Role insights:
- Ensure availability, stability, and performance of authoritative and recursive DNS platforms.
- Manage Infrastructure and OS lifecycle and execute EOL upgrades and platform migrations.
- Support DNS security services (malware and phishing protection).
- Maintain automation and standardized deployments (Salt).
- Operate and optimize Anycast/BGP-based distributed architectures.
- Contribute to continuous improvement, documentation, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with the Network, Platforms, Vendors and customer faced teams.

- Knowledge in DNS (Authoritative, Recursive, Bind, PowerDNS, Anycast).
- Knowledge with infrastructure automation (preferably Salt).
