Wacom’s Ink Division is responsible for Wacom’s software business and technology strategy and oversees a broad software portfolio including driver, technology services, applications, cloud, and software for integrated and enterprise solutions. Wacom’s core ink technologies consist of WILL (Wacom Ink Layer Language), digital biometric signature verification and content rights management and AI ink technologies.
As part of Wacom’s business units, our Global Ink Division is responsible for Software Technology Research and Development. It was established in 2011, with main forces in Bulgaria, UK & US. Today for our growing office in Sofia with more than 50 employees, we are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer with strong expertise and professional experience in AI systems to develop and improve the technology.
As a member of our Technology team you will participate in the design and development of differentiated AI technologies, with particular focus on signature verification systems initially.
• Define and lead technology research and development roadmap projects with cross-discipline engineering team members and/or with strategic technology partners;
• Take responsibility for the application of machine learning and other techniques to develop and improve Wacom’s signature verification tools and other pen and ink related AI technology;
• Act as part of technical expert team for artificial intelligence, machine learning, and deep learning and contribute to Wacom’s innovation and roadmap development processes;
• Contribute to the strategy and definition of Wacom’s technology roadmap with the goal to grow Wacom’s intellectual property and technology services portfolio.
