We are Quality House Ltd., a private Bulgarian company established in 2004 and entirely dedicated to ensuring and improving the quality of software products for our clients. We are currently looking to hire а Mid-level Quality Assurance Engineer for our office in Sofia.

Responsibilities

Job Summary:
The QA Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality of software products and processes.
They are responsible for manual and automated testing and for managing the defect lifecycle.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Participate in requirements analysis
• Estimate test effort
• Write logical test cases
• Design, implement, and perform manual and automated tests
• Assist developers in reproduction and localization of bugs
• Manage the bug lifecycle (reporting, tracking, escalation, verification) using bug-tracking tools, ensuring bugs are fixed and documented
• Prepare summary reports on the quality of the tested software

Requirements and necessary skills

Requirements:
• At least 1-year experience as a QA engineer or a relative IT position
• Good knowledge in QA and the testing process
• Strong logical and analytical skills
• Knowledge with at least one common Programming Language (C#, Java, JS, Python)
• Knowledge of different development platforms and technologies
• Computer system knowledge and experience
• Basic networking knowledge
• Knowledge in relative DB and SQL
• Good understanding of the entire software development process
• Strong motivation and ability to work without additional supervisory
• Capability of learning fast and working under stress in a dynamic environment
• Good command of English
