Your daily routine would include:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks for EPC and 5G Core network elements.
- Validating end-to-end data services, signaling flows, and policy control scenarios.
- Executing functional, regression, performance, load, and stress testing activities.
- Automating test cases using Python or similar scripting languages.
- Analyzing signaling protocols such as GTPv2, Diameter, PFCP, HTTP/2, SBI, and NGAP.
- Troubleshooting and analyzing protocol traces using tools like Wireshark, tcpdump, or similar.
- Integrating automated testing processes into CI/CD pipelines.
- Preparing clear and structured test documentation, reports, and KPI analysis.
- Supporting continuous integration and delivery processes related to network function testing.
- Collaborating with vendors and internal engineering teams to investigate and resolve technical issues.
- Aligning testing scope and priorities with business stakeholders and partner organizations.
We’ll know you can make it if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in Packet Core environments (EPC and/or 5G Core).
- Solid understanding of 4G EPC nodes (MME, SGW, PGW, PCRF) and/or 5G Core functions (AMF, SMF, UPF, PCF).
- Good knowledge of 3GPP standards and mobile core network architecture.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- English language proficiency at B2 level or higher.
