within IT Services Division of the A1 Competence Delivery Center.

Mario Klaric is looking for a new member for his team.
As an NMS Tools Engineer at A1 Competence Delivery Center, you will
be responsible for managing and optimizing systems that support
A1's convergent network operations, including both fixed and
mobile services.
You will work with advanced NMS platforms such as NetAct, Ericsson
Network Manager (ENM), ZTE Power Supply Platform, NetNuman, and
other in-house solutions.
Your role will focus on ensuring the smooth operation, automation,
and troubleshooting of these systems to drive performance,
reliability, and efficiency across A1’s network.
Role insights:
Lead the design, implementation, and management of advanced NMS
platforms, including ENM (Ericsson Network Manager), NetAct, ZTE
Power Supply Platform, and other network management systems.
Proactively monitor NMS system performance, identify potential
issues, and apply solutions to optimize network operations and
improve service delivery.
Develop and implement automation solutions (e.g., using scripting
languages such as Python, Bash, SQL) to streamline routine tasks,
improve operational efficiency, and reduce manual intervention.
Work closely with cross-functional teams and external vendors to
integrate emerging technologies into the NMS platforms and improve
overall system functionality.
Maintain up-to-date technical documentation for all NMS systems,
tools, and procedures, ensuring knowledge sharing across teams.
Provide regular performance reports and recommendations to enhance
network performance.
Provide day-to-day support for NMS systems, troubleshoot issues,
and work to ensure the high availability and reliability of network
services.
Constantly evaluate and improve existing NMS tools, processes, and
solutions to ensure optimal network performance and future
scalability.
What makes you unique:
Proven experience with NMS platforms such as ENM (Ericsson Network
Manager), NetAct, ZTE Power Supply Platform, and similar network
management systems.
Solid understanding of network protocols, data technologies, and
service operational support systems. Familiarity with both mobile
and fixed networks is essential.
Proficient in programming and scripting languages such as Python,
Bash, SQL, or similar. Strong problem-solving abilities to automate
tasks and improve system performance.
Solid experience with Linux systems and administration (e.g.,
RHEL). Familiarity with configuration management and
troubleshooting tools.
Ability to analyze network performance metrics, identify trends,
and take proactive steps to optimize services.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively
with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Ability to travel occasionally within the A1 Group’s footprint for
project coordination, troubleshooting, or team collaboration.
