Your role and responsibilities
Responsible for ensuring reliable production through effective
material planning, supplier coordination, and inventory
optimization. Aligns demand and supply to maintain service levels,
reduce working capital, and minimize shortages and excess stock.
Drives operational excellence through data-driven decisions,
cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement, in line
with ABB’s performance standards and values.
The work model for the role is onsite.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Execute MRP, release purchase orders, and expedite critical
materials to support production schedules while optimizing
inventory and reducing excess/obsolete stock through root cause
analysis and KPI monitoring (on-time delivery, turnover, days on
hand, supplier performance)
Manage supplier relationships and replenishment processes, resolve
urgent supply issues, and follow up on invoices and supplier
payments
Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Purchasing,
Quality, Engineering, and Warehouse teams to ensure efficient
operations and continuity of delivery
Drive operational excellence and cost efficiency through daily
material reviews, proactive risk mitigation, and working capital
improvement initiatives
Qualifications for the role
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business
Administration, Logistics, or Procurement
2 years of experience in a similar role is advantageous
Strong knowledge of material planning modules within ERP
systems
Fluent in English communication
Passionate about learning, innovation, and continuous
improvement
