We are now looking for an experienced and motivated professional
for the position of
Oracle PL/SQL developer
Key responsibilities:
Analyze product requirements, based on business and technical
specifications
Create complex functions, scripts, stored procedures and triggers
to support application development.
Analyze and optimize existing views, functions and stored
procedures.
Design, develop and test database solution in PL/SQL.
Liaise with and assist the Support Team with system(s) deployment
and identification of any potential defects or issues within
existing code and provide effective solutions to problems
Design and implement APIs for integration with other internal
systems, third-party services, and external financial and insurance
service providers
Conduct code reviews, ensuring best practices and high-quality
code
Use bug tracking system, project management system and version
control software.
Required skills and experience:
5+ years experience with PL/SQL and database development.
Experience with version control systems;
Very good analytical skills, data investigation skills and
database tuning and optimization skills
Business Proficiency in English
Desire to learn and to be challenged
Team work and time management skills
Experience with Oracle APEX.
Oracle Forms & Reports 12c.
Desirable/ advantages
Know-how or experience working on insurance solutions.
