for the role of: Quality engineer /on site/
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the quality and process improvement in the
production;
Responsible for the standards and procedures implementation;
Pilot the non-conformity mitigation plan;
Update and communicate the metrics linked to the quality and
non-quality cost;
Use of the necessary quality tools to solve issue (8D/9S, Root
cause analyses, PFMEA…);
Perform internal audit on products/process;
Conduct, perform and approve the FAI (First Article
Inspection);
Ensure the management of FOD (Foreign Objects Damage) in the
productions;
Maintains Non-Conformity Report (NCR);
Maintains the quality database;
Prepares regular quality reports;
Organizes and follows action plans for problem solving, containment
and corrective actions;
Maintains control plan/s;
Active in Continuous improvement initiatives on site.
Requirements:
Engineering Degree – technical background;
At least 2 years of experience in a production environment;
Computer literacy - MS Office - Excel and Power Point;
Flexibility regarding the working shifts (early, day and late
shift)
Good command of English language;
Knowledge on quality management systems - ISO 9001, EN 9100;
Knowledge of quality tools for problem solving (A3 report/8D
report, Ishikawa);
Internal auditor qualification – considered as an advantage;
FAI (First Article Inspection) experience considered as an
advantage;
Knowledge of French language will be considered an advantage;
Self-disciplined and able to carry out detailed work with minimum
supervision;
Excellent and proven communication skills and ability to establish
strong relationships within and outside the company based on trust,
confidentiality, and integrity;
Proactive problem solver;
A dynamic performer;
Quick learners, proactive, ready to work on their own and in a
team;
Ability to work under pressure.
