Working with minimal direction, this position will provide local
and remote operational and maintenance support for our
communications systems. The goal of this position is to maintain a
stable communications environment with appropriate capacity and
capabilities at a reasonable cost.
The position scope includes performing all program implementation, operation & support duties for the Medical Commination Department that are provided by the IT Communication Services team. These services include Data Network, Telephony, Data Center, Mobility, Call Center, and Security solutions.
• Telephony System and Contact Center administration and monitoring
• Coordinate with the Service Desk in providing support on LAN/WAN/Telephony issues
• Maintain and administer user and telephone accounts according to procedures
• Monitor and maintain maximum system performance levels
• Perform other specific Technical Operations duties as defined in Working Practices
• Understands fundamentals of the following technologies: LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, VOIP, SIP, and Cisco Call Manager
