Job Description
About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and proactive logistics professional to join our Service Data team as a Senior Service Data Specialist. In this role, you will take ownership of critical operational processes, build strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders, and drive continuous service excellence across logistics operations.

Beyond day-to-day execution, you will act as a key point of contact for escalations, workload management, and operational performance. You will provide guidance to the team, proactively identify risks, and ensure sustainable solutions that support both customer satisfaction and business objectives.

Main Responsibilities

  • Own and oversee assigned logistics and warehouse administration processes, ensuring consistent service delivery and operational excellence.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders, customers, warehouses, transport providers, and internal teams, building and maintaining strong working relationships.
  • Monitor operational inflow, workload distribution, and backlog levels, proactively identifying potential risks and coordinating mitigation actions.
  • Manage and drive the resolution of escalations, ensuring timely follow-up, stakeholder communication, and sustainable corrective actions.
  • Lead complex issue investigations, performing root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
  • Ensure accurate processing, validation, and maintenance of inbound and outbound logistics transactions within company systems.
  • Monitor operational performance against service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs), providing visibility on risks and improvement opportunities.
  • Review existing processes and identify opportunities for optimization, automation, and efficiency improvements.
  • Support and coordinate continuous improvement initiatives, driving standardization and best practice adoption across the team.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for assigned processes, providing coaching, guidance, and knowledge sharing to team members.
  • Maintain effective communication with customers and stakeholders, providing regular updates, managing expectations, and ensuring high levels of service satisfaction.
  • Support business transitions, process implementations, and operational change initiatives by coordinating activities and ensuring successful adoption.
  • Prepare operational reports, trend analysis, and performance insights to support decision-making and service improvements.
  • Collaborate with management to identify capacity challenges, workload trends, and resource requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and quality standards while promoting a culture of accountability and ownership.

Qualifications
Education:

  • University Degree, preferably in a discipline involving numbers and/or logical thinking

Experience:

  • Experience of min 3 years of experience in work in logistics, back-office operations and or accounting functions
  • Experience in a Shared services center environment is an advantage
  • We will consider a lower experience in lieu of skillsets and attitude. Do not hesitate to apply!

Technical skills/knowledge:

  • Experience with ERP/CRM/ FO or BO systems will be useful
  • Strong analytical skills

  • PC literate (MS-office tools, etc.)
  • Good Excel skills is necessary
  • Knowledge of any programming, app development experience would be a huge benefit
