Role Overview:
Design, develop, and maintain Python backend services in a Linux environment, ensuring secure integrations, high availability, and smooth system upgrades. Collaborate with the team to optimize performance, manage dependencies, and support reliable production operations.
Role insights:
- Perform OS-level operations and troubleshooting (Linux / RHEL 9).
- Develop, maintain, and optimize Python backend services and APIs.
- Integrate systems with Active Directory (LDAP) for secure authentication.
- Manage and upgrade Python environments (versions, dependencies, security).
- Plan and execute upgrades, including impact analysis and testing.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for high availability.
- Maintain clear and concise technical documentation.
We’ll know you can make it if you have:
- Degree in Computer Science, Informatics, or related field.
- 3 years of expiriance as a Python backend developer.
- Strong knowledge of Django.
- Experience with Active Directory / LDAP integration.
- Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g., Oracle) and ORM frameworks.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (e.g., GitHub).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in production environments.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Fluent in English (German is a plus).
