Site Sourcing expert

The Purchasing Professional will be responsible for managing the purchase orders by planning material requirements utilizing the updated system as well as executing any required plans. They are also responsible for performing follow-ups on purchasing orders sent to external suppliers.

General Responsibilities

• Key participant in the maintenance of updated purchase records 

• Collaborates on making purchases of urgent materials and/or transportation service for materials or products inside the city or to other locations 

• Key participant in the tracking and recording of functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness 

• Collaborates interviews of sales representatives and researches companies to develop new sources of supplies and secure favorable terms for the company Experience / Qualifications 

• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience. 

• Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands 

• Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation 

• Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results 

• Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity 

• Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards 

• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) 

• Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers

• English
• At least 3 years relevant experience
• Hands on ERP experience
• Supports to manage and improve critical supplier delays and material shortage situations, participates in development of Contingency plans to secure continuity of supply.
• Interacts with Global Commodity Managers to secure enough supplier capacity and drive dual sourcing and Change Management initiatives.
• Reports to Site Procurement Manager.

Gross Annual Salary Range
20,084.00 EUR - 27,614.40 EUR

The salary range is published in line with the EU Pay Transparency Directive and relevant country legislation.

Starting Salary
The starting salary offered will be based on objective, gender-neutral criteria , (e.g internal equivalency, relevant skills, experience, qualifications etc.). Applicants will not be asked for salary history.
