Role insights:
- Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all software assets and licenses across the organization.
- Ensure compliance with software licensing terms and conditions.
- Monitor and analyze software usage to identify optimization opportunities.
- Prepare regular reports on software license status and compliance.
- Participate in budgeting and cost optimization related to software procurement and renewals.
- Communicate with software vendors, partners, and internal departments regarding licensing and contracts.
- Support internal and external audits related to software assets and compliance.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure license compliance during system implementations and upgrades.
- Develop, document, and implement internal policies and procedures for software asset management.
- Provide guidance and training to employees on proper software usage and licensing practices.
We’ll know you can make it if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in IT asset management, licensing, or SAM.
- Understanding of major software licensing models (Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle, Autodesk, etc.).
- Experience with SAM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Snow, Flexera, or similar).
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with IT process frameworks (ITIL, ISO 19770 is an advantage) .
- Good command of English (written and spoken).
