Job Description

The Supply & Inventory Professional will have a leading role in defining an integrated supply chain that will produce sustained on-time delivery performance, targeted customer lead time breakthroughs, and optimized financial results.

The Supply & Inventory Professional is part of the SIOP team within Sensatas Operations organization and is an individual who has a proven Business Operations background to run the Supply & Inventory processes. The role operates in a global environment and supports the production of plants and SIOP functions to identify optimization initiatives. All actions lead to continuous improvement and standardization of the Supply Chain landscape

RESPONSIBILITIES

Create and analyze global product view of Supply and Demand

Lead and work with key stakeholders to balance 018 months demand and supply

Manage capacity constraint escalations up to 18 months

Support allocation of raw material across multiple production sites

Define & control Finished Good inventory level (Days on Hand)

Lead or co-lead production site Supply Review meetings under the accountability of Production site GMs

Maintain system parameter settings, min max, time fence, sourcing rule, etc.

Collaborate closely with plants and internal stakeholders to create ad-hoc analysis and standards to support decision-making processes throughout the organization

Build a strong network and trustful relationships within the Global SIOP Organization and drive new initiatives to establish supply chain excellence

Support onboarding of new Supply & Inventory Planning team members; provide training and mentoring as appropriate to level

Participating in all stages of the monthly SIOP process

Identify and lead Supply and Inventory Planning process improvements; work with cross-functional teams to optimize and standardize workflow to contribute to KPI achievement (i.e., OTD, expedited freight, DOH inventory)

Drive processes to achieve long-term supply planning visibility, accuracy and capability to achieve SIOP targets consistently

Ensure process integrity and excellence through compliance with internal policies and controls.

  • Business priority setting A hands-on approach to Supply and Inventory planning with the ability to communicate at all levels in the business and appreciate day-to-day issues. Highly detail oriented. Focuses on the most important and relevant topics based on the impact on results.
  • Team building and collaboration Skilled at working with teams of people with different opinions and agendas to achieve performance goals.
  • Accountability Accountable for accuracy in the Supply and Inventory planning process, taking careful consideration of Product Life Cycle planning and the improvement of supply planning accuracy.
  • Communication Prepares and runs (or supports) the monthly Supply Review meetings, ensuring inputs and outputs are clearly described and drives performance to targets, mitigating any risks and resolving issues throughout. Helps to create energy and enthusiasm in the Supply and Inventory planning process.
  • Process and Data Orientation Clearly understands a high volume of data and is able to interpret and present to support decision making.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or related field is highly preferred
  • Experience: Bachelors degree with minimum 4+ years of relevant experience in global supply chain; ORMasters degree with minimum 2+ years of relevant experience. Previous experience in planning and/or procurement is an advantage
  • Advanced Planning System experience preferred (Oracle, SAP, Blue Yonder, Logility, etc.)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel with rigorous data logic and strong sensitivity to data structuring and analysis. Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) or programming (Python, etc.) is a plus
  • An analytical mind with attention to detail and an ability to interpret complex data and recommend solutions
  • Experience in developing internal and external customer relationships and building collaborative processes
  • Previous experience working with all levels in a complex and matrixed environment
  • An excellent communicator and influencer at all levels of an organization
  • A passion to succeed and challenge the status quo where value adding
  • Certification of CPIM or CSCP is an advantage
  • Fluent in English.
