MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform research and prepare tax opinion on tax implications on
acquisitions/sales of assets (incl. financial assets and exchange
of assets) as well as on launching new products;
Provide tax opinion on the bank agreements with
vendors/clients;
Assists in review and/or preparation of corporate income tax
return;
Assist in the effective tax rate calculation for the purposes of
the new minimum corporate income tax rules (Pillar 2);
Ensure proper application of tax legislation and in particular
Corporate Income tax, VAT and WHT;
Involvement in KBC Group tax discussions and participation in Group
tax projects;
Participate in preparation of transfer pricing documentation;
Follow up changes in tax legislation and inform the Management;
Provide support in communication with tax authorities and
effectively communicate with external advisors on specific
topic.
REQUIREMENTS:
University degree in Law, Finance, Accounting or other relevant to
the position;
Relevant tax experience in a consulting company, in-house or tax
administration;
General knowledge of Bulgarian and international (EU and OECD) tax
legislation and guidelines;
Good computer skills – MS Office;
Excellent command of English is a must (written and spoken);
Proactive and result driven;
Team player;
Able to take responsibility;
Analytical skills, accuracy and attention to details;
Able to meet deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks.
