The Tech Center consultant is responsible for providing technical support and/or leadership in the creation and delivery of SAP technology solutions designed to meet a customer’s business needs. Create and maintain effective customer relationships to secure customer satisfaction. Provide the deepest level of product- and technology-specific expertise available to customers from anyone in the sales organization in deal pursuit situations.

Job specifics/responsibilities: 

  • Analyze very technical information and communicate it effectively to different kinds of audiences
  • Understand and have technical discussions with our requestors and customers
  • Acquire, maintain, grow, and demonstrate technical knowledge of HPE’s technology and solutions and deepen your expertise within an area of specialization
  • Understand customer business requirements from a technical viewpoint and use technical expertise to propose and configure solutions which help customers achieve their business goals
  • Participate in complex technical architecture, design, and sizing, by identifying site-specific parameters and constraints that impact the technical solution.
  • Provide your output within the defined SLA while properly tracked in our ticketing system.
  • Professionally manage customer expectations and respond to customer concerns
  • Demonstrate technical competence in customer/partner communications
  • Able to proactively learn about new products and features, as well as finding new resources.
  • Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as you grow into the role (product lead, coordinator or similar tasks which involve support within and outside of the team)
  • Share knowledge and experience with peers
  • Train and coach new colleagues
  • Carry out administrative activities related to mentioned content of work

Key deliverables/accountabilities:

  • Create SAP solutions through our configuration tools
  • Provide technical presales support (ranging from general compatibility to in-depth technology consultancy) to the HPE Sales and Pre-Sales workforce, as well as top-selling Partners and Distributors
  • Our service is delivered via e-mail with a customer-oriented approach.

Изисквания и необходими умения

Education (degree) and professional experience required:

  • Some expertise in SAP ecosystem including SAP HANA–based architectures.
  • 5+ years of experience in technology industry with focus on technical selling.
  • Master or Bachelor’s degree in engineering or from technical university
  • Proven IT background through either job history or education, who can analyze very technical information and communicate it effectively to different kinds of audiences.

Other requirements: 

  • Fluent in written and verbal English

Personal skills and qualities: 

  • Analytical, problem detection and solving skills
  • Demonstrate solid technical skills in assigned area of specialization.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic project management skills 
  • Good business and financial acumen.
  • Knowledge of effective consultative selling techniques, including active listening, framing, white boarding, storytelling etc.

Technical skills: 

  • Knowledge-based and experienced-based industry certifications preferred.
  • MS Office
