Job Description


This role sits within Group Compliance and offers exposure to trade compliance, risk analysis, data?driven decision?making, and process transformation in a complex multinational environment. 

The successful candidate will work independently under supervision and contribute to the development, automation, and continuous improvement of global compliance processes, supporting business teams with analytical insights and practical risk advice. 

The role is not limited to KYC execution and is suited to candidates interested in compliance transformation, analytics, and the use of technology in risk management. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Perform risk?based counterparty due diligence, including KYC assessments, as part of a broader trade compliance framework. 

  • Analyze compliance risks across counterparties, transactions, and trade flows, applying judgment rather than checklist?based reviews. 

  • Support and advise business stakeholders on specific transactions in line with Group policies, sanctions, and regulatory requirements. 

  • Work closely with regional and global teams to provide practical, solution?oriented risk guidance. 

  • Lead or contribute to strategic compliance initiatives and transformation projects, ensuring strong documentation and timely delivery. 

  • Identify operational inefficiencies and support continuous improvement initiatives, using data and analysis to enhance processes, tools, and controls. 

  • Build, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards to provide visibility into compliance activity, risk metrics, and operational performance. 

  • Design and implement Power Automate workflows to streamline repetitive tasks and reduce manual effort. 

  • Support the adoption of new technologies and AI?enabled workflows within the compliance function. 

  • Handle ad?hoc analytical requests and engage in first?level discussions with business teams on monitoring or risk topics. 


Qualifications


Education 

  • University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Law, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field. 

Experience 

  • 1–3 years of professional experience, ideally in:  

    - Consulting (e.g. Big 4 or advisory) 

    - Risk, compliance, audit, or internal controls 

    - Business analysis, data analytics, or process improvement 

    - Experience in an international or multinational environment is a strong advantage. 

Technical & Digital Skills 

  • Advanced user of MS Excel (data analysis, formulas, structured datasets). 

  • Knowledge of Power BI and Power Automate (or strong motivation to develop quickly). 

  • Comfort working with large datasets, dashboards, and process automation.  

  • Interest in emerging technologies, digital transformation, and AI applications in compliance or risk functions. 

Language Skills: 

  • Fluent in English. 

  • Additional languages are an advantage. 

Personal Skills 

  • Strong analytical and problem?solving mindset. 

  • Ability to work autonomously in a dynamic, fast?paced environment. 

  • Confident communicator capable of translating complex topics into business?relevant insights. 

  • High attention to detail combined with strong prioritization and time?management skills. 

  • Collaborative team player with a continuous improvement mindset.
