JobTiger Students’ Scholarship 2007/2008 Competition Results Announced

JobTiger Students’ Scholarship competition results were announced at a press-conference held at the Crystal Palace Hotel on September 25th, 2007.
 
In order to take part in the competition the participants had to write an essay on the topic "How will/has my job change/d me?”. 116 university students from all around Bulgaria took part in the competition. Taking part in the competition or winning it is not a prerequisite to start a career at the company of JobTiger. Through this competition our company contributes to the changing labor market and to the more efficient dialogue between business and young people.
 
6 scholarship candidates, the authors of the best written essays, reached the final round – an interview with a committee.
 
The scholarship winner is:
 
  • Ventsislava Stancheva, University of National and World Economy, major in „Finance”.
 
Single incentive award of 250 BGL were given to:
 
  • Eliya Atanasova, Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”, major in „Sociology”;
  • Liliya Mollova, University of National and World Economy, major in „Marketing”.
Single incentive award of 100 BGL were given to:
 
  • Stella Gradeva, Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”, major in „Economics”;
  • Nadezhda Argirova, University of National and World Economy, major in „Finance”.
  • Daniela Peeva, University of National and World Economy, major in „Finance”.
Jobtiger Scholarship has been granted since 2004 as a part of the social policy of the JobTiger’s team, oriented to university students and young professionals in Bulgaria. The value of the scholarship is the minimum monthly wages and is paid each month in the course of the two semesters (from October 1st to June 30th).
 
JobTiger’ Scholarship competition is open for every Bulgarian citizen, who is university student, regardless of regular or extramural studies, BA or MA degree studies.

Other significant initiatives of JobTiger, directed at the professional development of young people include the yearly Careers Fair, the free students’ courses “Start your career with JobTiger and…”, and participation in establishing and assisting work of the University Career Centers.
