This role is part of the Data & Analytics team that is leveraging the big data capabilities of Cargill's Hadoop/Cloudera Data Platform. The platform will be critical in driving digital transformation and help transform the business into a data-driven organization supporting several departments with information and insights for both our customers as employees. The Data Integrity Analyst will be part of the global Data & Analytics product team (along-side Data Engineers, Architects, BI developers, Business Analysts etc.) that runs DevOps and continuously releases new product increments. You will be responsible for the run - actions required to operate the existing data solutions and keep the solution up and running and maintain implementing small changes in order to keep the data solutions fit for purpose.

Principal Accountabilities
Work with business, application and process owners, and data team members to analyse back-end and front-end data solutions and play a key role in the Run & Maintain;
Overlook and optimize the ETL schedules and respond adequately in case the data pipeline failed;
Overlook and optimize the Tableau Dashboard refreshes and respond adequately in case the data refresh failed, making sure the business has latest availability of information;
Follow-up with data owners in case front-end is impacted by missing master and/or transactional data;
First line Q&A for data lineage related questions and Tableau dashboard usage;
Investigate and resolve bug fixes in the back-end and ensure the solution/bug fix designed and built can be supported as part of a DevOps model;
Implement small change requests in the back-end and ensure the solution designed and built can be supported as part of a DevOps model;
Support testing of new product increments and applying necessary back-end design changes, apply test driven development principles to automate build and regression testing;
Collaborate with front-end developer on their back-end requirements, troubleshooting and debugging;
Ensure adherence to development and architecture standards and best practices;
Contribute ideas and/or code that improves core software infrastructure, patterns and standards;
Create or modify design documentation as defined by team development standards, processes, and tools;
Assist in creating documents that ensure consistency in development across Cargill.
Provide regular updates on achieved progress, challenges and learnings from the build, run and operations area;
Active participant in the scrum ceremonies

Requirements and necessary skills

Required Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in IT or Technical Business Studies/Engineering or equivalent work experience;
2+ years of IT and business/industry work experience developing data or software applications including: analysis, design, coding, testing, deploying and supporting of applications;
2+ years applied experience in Data Warehousing and the use of traditional RDBMS like SQL Server, Oracle, SAP, etc.;
2+ years applied experience in building an effective and scaleable ETL process;
1+ years applied experience in integration platforms like SSIS;
1+ years applied experience in Data Modelling;
1+ years applied experience with front-end visualization tools like Tableau and/or PowerBI;
Experience with development using tools like GitHub, Azure DevOps, Jira, etc.;
Experience with Cloudera Hadoop and/or other big data technologies;
Experience with the Agile mindset;
Some experience with Java, Python and/or Scala;
Ability to create clear and detailed technical diagrams and documentation;
Excellent command of the English language, both written as verbal;
Experience working in a virtual, global environment
Preferred Qualifications
Masters Degree in IT or Technical Business Studies/Engineering
Experience with big data cloud solutions like AWS, Google Cloud, Azure;
Experience with the big-data eco-systems; Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Apache Kudu, Shell Scripts, Impala, Hive, Oozie;
Experience in a shared services environment
