Your role

This role will be a core member of our PLM team, leading the definition our future Business Solutions SW roadmap and solutions (SDKs, API´s, Plug-Ins). As a technical lead you will help defining new SW value propositions in close alignment with BU Management, Product Management, SW Engineering and Sales & Marketing. Based on your technical background and technology market knowledge (new trends and technologies like blockchain, eSignature) with regards to business workflows you will a core driver for our new concepts and future SW product architecture.

Your own SW development skills and experiences help you leading the POC (proof of concept) development phase together with internal SW engineers and or external partners.

Your tasks

Define and ensure delivery of new software proof-of-concepts or customized solutions for key partners and accounts
Delivery of the Wacom Solution line-up well to resolve customers issues
Define the implementation scope and prepare business cases and user journey experience
Technical definition and SW architecture of customization projects
End-to-end responsibility for definition, development and lifecycle management of BSU professional services and customization projects
Within our SW roadmap manage feature/scope, technical requirements, time to release, business case and development efforts
Deliver actionable project and customization plans that get implemented on the software roadmap
Responsible for feature prioritization and scope management
Manage risks and escalations on the project
Responsible as product owner for go-to-market of BSU Software & Service
Support internal stakeholders with product value proposition and feature briefings, sales material, documentation, trainings and event support

Requirements and necessary skills

Your skills

Business level English speaker.
Good market knowledge with regards to latest technical trends in digital transformation of business workflows
Software programming experience for FrontEnd Web application, Javascript, TypeScript.
Build sample code and POCs utilizing Wacoms SDK including testing .
Basic software technical knowledge like OS, programming. Majored computer science or equivalent.
Additional C#, C++ language programming experience are welcome (optional)
Can suggest technical solutions and SW architecture for specific customer scenarios or use cases
ble to identify technical issues/challenges and to provide solutions
Good listening skills (customers, partners, etc.)
Able investigate summary of technical issue and can report details to SW engineers.
This position is also considered for less senior candidates who have the willingness
to grow into technical leadership role within BSU
