Responsibilities

Job Purpose and Impact
The Accountant Analyst - Statutory Reporting will provide a variety of accounting services for selected processes and countries. In this role, you will be responsible for accounting administrative expenses, coordinate month end general ledger close, prepare balance sheet reconciliations, cost and management control and provide profit and loss analysis.

Key Accountabilities
• Participate in process improvement projects providing accounting and finance support.
• Provide timely and relevant financial reports.
• Drive financial reporting operational and improvement activities.
• Participate in statutory reporting, fiduciary responsibilities, and controls, partnering with the business functions and support functions.
• Complete activities within compliance of related systems and organizational guidelines, policies, and requirements.
• Take initiatives and provide support for multiple teams in partnership with related functional areas.
• Act as primary point of contact for selected processes to ensure all internal controls are in place and monitored.
• Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements and necessary skills

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum of two years of related work experience
• Fluent English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in shared service operations
• Experience in finance operations related processes, cost analysis and reporting
• Experience with preparation of Financial Statutory Reporting
• Knowledge of IFRS or local GAAP
