The Role:

Lead Depositary Support Officer is responsible for all aspects of the service provided to clients Ensures oversight, administration and technical support to the Depositary Oversight / Fees team.

Lead Depositary Support Officer works in direct contact with the rest of the team members and cooperates, with other with other department members & clients the supervision of their Line Manager.

Key duties and responsibilities:

Supervises a sub-team within the department;
Prepare workflow tasks and submit for review to the Depositary team leader;
Providing support in verifying the ownership of all assets of the Fund that are not held in custody and are Defined as Other Assets;
Providing support in ensuring all Other Assets are properly recorded, registered and reconciled on an ongoing basis;
Executing of reconciliations;
Providing technical support regarding:
Control activities in the depositary oversight for both, UCITS and Non-UCITS;
Calculates Depositary Fees;
Conducts audit checks on third parties;
Conducts NAV review (fees) ;
Suggests areas for improvement or efficiencies to processes;
Ensures support is provided to other teams of the department.

Requirements and necessary skills

Experience and skills:

University degree in preferably Finance/ Business Administration;
People management skills;
Relevant experience up to 5 years, 1 of which as a supervisor.
Autonomous and solution oriented working style;
Excellent communication skills in English (B level as minimum);
Communication skills in German Language (B level as minimum);
Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills;
Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
Strong knowledge of quality control techniques/procedures;
Strong understanding of product range and operational processes;
Ability to work under pressure and to fixed deadlines.
