Job Purpose and Impact
The Record to Report Team Specialist will focus on the routine
finance operational activities and the coordination of the routine
finance operational activities of the assigned team encompassing
service level agreement adherence, reporting, procedures and
communication. In this role, you will focus on process improvement,
best practice sharing and client satisfaction measures and
improvement plans and oversee the task distribution across the
team. You will be the technical escalation point, provide onsite
support to employees taking ownership of technically difficult
issues and serve as the initial interface for all operational
related issues.
Key Accountabilities
Plan and execute day to day finance operational activities and
coordinate the daily accounting activities of the team.
Ensure day to day finance operational activities are executed
effectively with appropriate controls, training and
documentation.
Ensure time sensitive processes are completed including full
balance sheet reconciliations, consolidation and corporate
reporting requirements including fixed assets, expense analysis and
other accounting related inquiries and ensure financial reporting
is completed timely and accurately.
Actively participate and support major projects and initiatives
from a financial perspective.
Ensure accounting tasks completed are in compliance with the
service catalog and accounting policy.
Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal
supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate
staff.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent
experience
Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning applications
Good working knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing
applications
Minimum of two years of related work experience
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum of five years of experience in finance operation with good
expertise in record to report and related finance processes
Previous experience in leading teams
End to end process knowledge on record to report
