Responsibilities

The role focuses on operating and maintaining the cloud and on-prem environments of the company located in Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS and co-location facilities. The main goals are to deliver secure and highly available service for the internal business needs while continuously increase the level of automation and security.

Primary Responsibilities:
Work with stakeholders from the business and other IT functional departments in design and architecture of new applications.
Evaluate existing legacy and traditional applications and develop transformation and migration strategy that would leverage public cloud offerings.
Prepare or update existing technical documentation for deployed environments and applications.
Support the operations of high performing cloud-based and on-prem infrastructures
Leverage automation to improve availability and security and reduce cost and delivery time.
Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for Service Incidents
Understand, enforce, improve and contribute to internal processes and Standard Operating Procedures.
Monitor environments for security vulnerabilities and take actions to remediate and/or mitigate risks.
Manage and report capacity and cost. Work with leadership team and business stakeholders on budgeting and forecasting.

Requirements and necessary skills

Two years of experience with enterprise-grade cloud environment management, support and/or architecture.
Five or more years of experience in system administration, engineering and support of enterprise infrastructure environments (System Administrator, System Engineer, Support Engineer, DevOps, etc.).
Good knowledge and/ or certifications on best practices and architecture in Azure and/ or AWS.
Good understanding of Data center infrastructure, Virtualization, Networks, Storage, Backup, OS (Windows and/or Linux).
Working experience with PowerShell or Python.
Experience with infrastructure automation technologies like Ansible or Terraform etc. is considered as advantage.
Able to understand business and technical requirements and develop a high-level design or plan, and then estimate the amount of effort and cost required to deliver.
Fluency in English.
Team player, ability to work with counterparts and customers across the world.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
