As a Solution Manager, you are the expert and the referent of the
Procurement domain (business and IT processes), knowing it from A
to Z and understanding how all pieces work together.
You define and establish target solution, starting from an initial
conceptual vision and evolving into a more concrete solution
specification. You make high-level design choices according to the
business strategy; dictate the standards, guidelines, best
practices, and patterns and identify impacts on the information
system. You will have to understand business requirements, prepare
or review specifications, work effectively with other functional
and technical team members, make recommendations, and converge all
requirements into one/several solutions.
As the Procurement Solution Manager for EMEA, you will play a
strategic and hands-on role in driving the design, governance, and
rollout of procurement processes within LDC’s global BOLD ERP
program. You will act as the key owner of the procurement IT
landscape and serve as a vital link between global IT and EMEA
business stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Define and maintain the Procurement Core Model in SAP S/4HANA,
ensuring global consistency.
Challenge and track local deviations to uphold core model
integrity.
Own the procurement IT landscape (SAP MM, Ariba, Fiori, Lean
Catalogue, SAC Procurement).
Develop and manage the IT Procurement roadmap, including rollouts
and innovations.
Lead planning and execution of EMEA deployment projects (scope,
budget, resources).
Monitor project timelines, risks, and financials, ensuring
alignment with program goals.
Act as the main IT contact for procurement stakeholders in the EMEA
region.
Ensure effective communication between global teams, local
business, and IT.
Provide expert support on procurement processes and SAP
solutions.
Partner with the Run Team to ensure system stability and continuous
improvement
Requirements:
Around 10 years of experience in SAP implementation projects, with
a focus on SAP MM and Ariba modules.
Proven expertise in SAP S/4HANA, including Fiori apps and
integration with Ariba and SAP Analytics Cloud.
Excellent understanding of procurement processes: sourcing,
requisitions, orders, contracts, and catalog management.
Hands-on experience managing or supporting SAP rollouts in complex,
multi-country environments.
Familiarity with core model governance and handling change requests
in global ERP programs.
Experience working in matrix organizations and international teams,
especially across the EMEA region will be considered as an
advantage
Proficient in SAP Solution Manager (SolMan) for release, change,
and test management.
Experience with JIRA and Confluence for agile project tracking and
documentation.
Exposure to SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or Power BI for reporting and
dashboards
Other skills (Computer Skills, etc)
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel,
PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Familiar with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms for incident and
change processes.
Understanding of process modeling tools such as LeanIX, or
Enterprise Architect.
Comfortable working with collaboration platforms like Microsoft
Teams, SharePoint.
Strong documentation, communication, and coordination skills in
global, cross-functional teams.
Skilled in project planning, budgeting, resource coordination, and
reporting at the workstream level.
Effective communicator and trusted partner for Procurement, Supply
Chain stakeholders.
Ability to translate business needs into scalable, efficient IT
solutions.
