Your daily routine would include:
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure for the Mobile Network Functions.
- Support migration of traditional telecom workloads to cloud and containerized environments (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker, OpenStack).
- Ensure high availability, performance, scalability, and security Cloud Platforms on hosting the cloud-native network functions (CNFs) and virtualized network functions (VNFs).
- Collaborate with R&D, and Network Engineering teams to develop automated infrastructure solutions.
- Optimize Cloud Platfom’s performance through monitoring, capacity planning, and proactive troubleshooting.
- Manage relationships with cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, Exoscale, or private telco clouds).
- Stay current with the latest developments in cloud technologies and telecommunication.
- Align testing scope with business partners (local companies)
- Participate in technical projects and contribute to operational strategy boards.
- Ensure continuous and structured documentation of technical and operational aspects.
We’ll know you can make it if you have:
- Experience working with Cloud platforms or Telco Cloud infrastructure environments.
- Hands-on experience in Linux server administration.
- Experience in maintaining, troubleshooting, and administering Kubernetes- or OpenStack-based Telco Cloud platforms.
- Practical knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of designing and implementing containerization and virtualization solutions.
- Experience participating in technical projects, combined with strong problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in English for effective technical communication.
- Fundamental knowledge in at least two of the following areas:
- Containerization platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, Rancher).
- Virtualization stack technologies (e.g., OpenStack, KVM).
- CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation practices.
- Hardware management tools (e.g., Dell OME, HPE OneView).
- Basic scripting or coding skills (e.g., Bash, Python).
Nice to Have:
- Experience with edge computing, network slicing, or private 5G networks.
- Familiarity with automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Helm).
- Relevant certifications such as CCNP Cloud, AWS Solutions Architect, or Red Hat Certified Engineer.
