Test Developer

We are looking for a Test Developer. 

Main Deliverables: 

Develop and implement test systems in accordance with the test specifications provided by the customer; 

Develop an overall concept for the test system and coordinate it with the rest of the Automation & TSD team assigned to the respective project; 

Be responsible for Functional Test System development in coordination with Automation engineers whilst working closely with other members of the Project teams (Project Manager, Product Industrialization Engineer, Quality Engineer, etc); 

Get well acquainted with Customer Test Specification, identify discrepancies and clarify all open points by direct communication with the customer; 

Define needed Test Equipment and complementary electronic parts/modules; 

Clarify all requirements for the Test Fixture in close collaboration with responsible Mechanical/Electronic Designers, prepare required input data to Automation team members; 

Select the needed equipment that must be purchased; 

Coordinate the budget related to test systems with the respective Project Manager; 

Get well acquainted with the product specifications; 

Create Test Programs in compliance with internal predefined rules; 

Run, debug and validate the Test Systems in production environment; 

Prepare all the documentations concerning the approval and release of the test systems on the production line; 

Requirements: 

Engineering University degree (preferably in Electronics, Industrial Automation or Computer Science); 

2+ years of experience in a test and development related role ideally in electronic mass production environment; 

Good technical qualification concerning electronic measurements – types of measurement devices, parameters of measurement devices; 

Good knowledge in electronic schematics; 

MS Windows and MS Office tools experience; 

Advanced programming level in C or C++ (Lab Windows/CVI is considered as an advantage); 

Experience in OrCAD or any other programs for electrical design; 

Deep understanding and hands-on experience in electronic measurements; 

Experience with measurement and test equipment - oscilloscopes, programmable power supplies, DAQ Cards, DMMs, source-measure units, LCR meters, etc; 

Parameters of measurement - methods, different approaches, pros and cons; 

Strong background in electronic analog/digital schematics - design and analysis; 

Deep understanding of computer hardware and interfaces – PCI/PCIe, GPIB, RS232, LAN, USB, I2C, SPI, RS232; 

MS Project knowledge is a "+" Intermediate English language level – oral and written communication within an international team; 

Strong team player with attention to detail; 

Proven leadership and negotiation skills are an advantage;
