PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST
Responsibilities:
o Take part in market prospecting and evaluation, and in the pre-selection of suppliers for consultation;
o Take part in negotiations with suppliers;
o Participate on implementing the commercial agreements reached (updating the information system and action plan);
o Participate in process of setting indirect items in SAP;
o Follow suppliers’ compliance with contractual terms;
o Participate in continuous improvement projects, in consultation with related plant departments.
o Continuously ensure data consistency in the information system;
o Creation of Purchase order and its communications with suppliers;
o Preparing of order books; follow the on-time deliveries and communicate with supplier.
o Responding to customer requests: financial department, operations department, HR department;
o Participate in the exchange of information, best practices and the identification of areas for improvement with internal customers and related departments.
Requirements:
o Relevant university degree or at least 3 years of professional experience in Purchasing;
o Very good command of English in terms of writing and speaking;
o Familiarity in ERP systems (preferably SAP);
o Knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
o Knowledge of the quality and logistics basics of the Supplier management;
o Building a factual base (spend analysis, offer analysis, supplier analysis, TCO);
o Analytical skills;
o Self-disciplined and able to carry out detailed work with minimum supervision;
o Excellent communication skills;
o Able to establish relationships based on trust, confidentiality, and integrity;
o Proactive problem solver;
o A dynamic performer;
o Ability to work under pressure;
o Willing to learn;
o Hands-on, diligent and fast and effective troubleshooting.
