General duties
- Establish and maintain the bank's AI governance framework aligned with EU AI Act, GDPR, and OTP Group policies.
- Lead AI system classification, risk assessment, and registration processes.
- Create and enforce policies for AI-readiness of APIs, knowledge assets, and documentation.
- Coordinate AI impact assessments across Data Science, Engineering, and business units.
- Develop accountability models, lifecycle controls, and governance KPIs for AI/ML systems.
- Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, IT Security, Enterprise Architecture, and Audit teams to ensure end-to-end governance coverage.
- Maintain traceability documentation and prepare the organization for regulatory inspections and audits.
- Update internal rules and processes to incorporate AI-specific requirements.
Requirements
Must have
- 5+ years of experience in governance, compliance, risk management, or policy development in regulated industries.
- Experience creating policies, frameworks, and accountability models for technology or AI systems.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills across technical and business teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Nice to have
- Banking or financial services background (strongly preferred).
- Deep understanding of EU AI Act requirements, including prohibited practices, high-risk AI system obligations, transparency requirements, and documentation standards.
- Familiarity with GDPR, financial services regulations (CRD, MiFID II), and data governance frameworks.
- Background in AI, data science, compliance, law, or related fields.
- Experience with OTP Group standards and processes.
- Knowledge of ISO/IEC 42001 (AI Management System), NIST AI Risk Management Framework, or similar standards.
- Hands-on experience with AI system documentation and model cards.
- Certification in governance, risk, or compliance (e.g., CIPP/E, CIPM, CRISC).
