General duties
- Participates in internal audit engagements at the Bank's Head Office and subsidiaries in accordance with the Internal Audit Department's methodology and internal regulations
- Assists in the preparation and execution of audit programs under the guidance of senior auditors and audit managers
- Reviews documents, processes, transactions, and controls to support audit fieldwork and testing activities
- Collects, analyzes, and documents audit evidence with due professional care and in line with internal audit standards
- Supports the identification of audit findings, risks, and control weaknesses and contributes to drafting audit observations
- Participates in meetings and interviews with auditees and maintains professional communication during audit engagements
- Assists in the preparation of audit reports and other internal audit documentation
- Supports follow-up activities related to audit recommendations and remediation actions
- Participates in internal audit research, data analysis, and other department initiatives
- Continuously develops knowledge of banking operations, internal controls, risk management, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Law, Business Administration
- Up to 2 years of experience in internal audit, external audit, compliance, risk, finance, or another relevant area would be considered an advantage
- Previous experience in a financial institution would be considered an advantage
- Very good oral and written English skills (C1 level)
- Interest in internal audit, risk management, governance, and banking processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and writing skills
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Proactive attitude and eagerness to develop professionally
