Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the processes in maintaining and preserving the efficiency of all equipment, production lines, and/or facilities, resulting in the optimization of technical and financial resources. You may specialize in mechanical, electrical, mechatronic, or other similar areas.
The work model for the role is onsite.
This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Power Business Area.
 
You will be mainly accountable for
 

• Defining maintenance plans for new production lines or facilities, and consulting on ways to improve reliability, maintainability, and safety of equipment and/or facilities.
• Solving major technical, equipment, or facilities problems to achieve higher performance of the production lines.
• Proposing improvement projects for processes and production lines aimed at reducing ordinary and extraordinary maintenance and optimizing operational and energy efficiency.
• Responding to emergencies, breakdowns, malfunctions, and other operating problems to minimize disruption in the production process.

Qualifications
for the role

• Technical bachelor’s or master’s degree
• Experience within a manufacturing environment, working with Lean principles
• Good computer literacy of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Skills to work with ERP systems, (SAP) is an advantage
• Good written and verbal communication in English
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with people at all levels are essential
• Leadership and project management.
