Your daily routine would include:
- Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand customer needs, business goals, and product requirements.
- Defining, documenting, and refining user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements.
- Managing and prioritizing the product backlog to ensure the development team is focused on delivering the highest business value.
- Working closely with developers, QA engineers, UX/UI designers, and other cross-functional teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Participating in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Reviewing completed features to ensure they meet business requirements, acceptance criteria, and the Definition of Done.
- Supporting product roadmap planning by identifying opportunities for product improvements and new features.
- Analyzing user feedback, product performance, and available data to make informed product decisions.
- Creating and maintaining product documentation, including feature specifications, process flows, and release notes.
- Facilitating communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities and expectations.
- Monitoring product progress, managing changing priorities, and proactively addressing potential risks or blockers.
- Continuously researching market trends, customer needs, and industry best practices to help drive product innovation.
We’ll know you can make it if you have:
- 2+ year of hands-on experience in a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Business Analyst role within a software development environment.
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience in product lifecycle management, including:
- Defining and scoping product features;
- Writing clear user stories and acceptance criteria;
- Backlog refinement and prioritization;
- Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, GitHub).
- Understanding of key product documentation:
- Product roadmaps;
- Functional requirements / specifications;
- User personas and journey maps;
- Ability to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical engineering teams.
- Basic understanding of web technologies, system architectures, or APIs (ability to hold technical conversations with developers).
- Familiarity with data analytics or visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau) to drive data-informed decisions.
- Basic knowledge of UX/UI principles and design tools (e.g., Figma, Miro) for wireframing and conceptualization.
- Understanding of software validation processes (knowing how to verify that delivered features meet definition of done).
- Excellent prioritization and organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Outstanding problem-solving abilities and a business-driven mindset.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proactive attitude, high empathy for end-users, and a strong willingness to learn and adapt.
Nice to Have:
- Official Agile/Scrum certifications (e.g., CSPO, PSPO I).
- Experience working on data-heavy platforms, internal automation tools, or telecommunications-related software.
- Basic knowledge of SQL for running simple queries to validate product data or user metrics.
