About the role
ProCredit Bank is currently seeking to hire a Credit Risk Methodology, Project Management and Regulatory Alignment Expert to support the development and continuous enhancement of the Bank's credit risk framework through the design and implementation of credit risk policies, methodologies, controls, system solutions, and cross-functional projects. The role ensures alignment with regulatory requirements, Group standards, and sound banking practices, while coordinating initiatives related to process improvement, regulatory change, digitalization, ESG integration, and credit risk transformation as part of the Credit Risk Department and the Second Line of Defense of the Bank.
Key Responsibilities:- Develops and maintains credit risk policies, standards, procedures, and methodologies, ensuring alignment with Group requirements and driving continuous improvements in credit risk processes
- Coordinates regulatory and audit reviews, supports the alignment of the Bank's credit risk framework with applicable regulatory requirements and monitors the implementation of related action plans
- Maintains the credit approval authority framework, ensuring appropriate approval levels, segregation of duties, and consistency with the Bank's risk appetite
- Provides training, guidance, and methodological support to business and risk functions to ensure the consistent application of credit risk policies and standards
- Participates in and coordinates projects, process improvements, and system developments related to credit risk, rating and scoring models, ESG integration, and workflow optimization
- Prepares analyses, reports, and presentations, assesses the effectiveness of credit risk controls, and recommends enhancements to methodologies and processes
Main requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Banking, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in credit risk, lending, risk management, regulatory compliance, audit, or another banking-related function.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with the ability to assess risks and propose practical solutions.
- Understanding of credit risk management principles, credit policies, methodologies, and regulatory requirements applicable to the banking sector.
- Experience in developing, maintaining, or implementing policies, procedures, methodologies, and internal control frameworks will be considered an advantage.
- Experience in project coordination and process improvement initiatives, including cooperation with business, IT, and control functions will be considered an advantage.
- Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; experience with banking systems and reporting tools will be considered an advantage.
- Very good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
