SOF Connect has been the operator of the airport under a 35-year concession agreement since April 2021. The company is owned by Meridiam, a global investor focused on sustainable public infrastructure development.
We are delivering one of Bulgaria’s most significant infrastructure transformation projects – the construction of Terminal 3, the modernization of the airport complex, and the transformation of Vasil Levski Sofia Airport into a five-star regional airport and Bulgaria’s gateway to the world.
The project will increase the airport’s capacity to 20 million passengers annually and contribute to the creation of more than 10,000 direct and 20,000 indirect jobs across the aviation sector and related industries.

Information Agent–Terminals
The Role:
The Information Agent – Terminals provides accurate and up-to-date information about the schedules and current status of flights operating at Sofia Airport, in person at the information desk, by phone, and through the public address systems.
The Information Agent ensures that all information is provided accurately, comprehensively, and courteously; has detailed knowledge of the flight information system and the technical equipment provided for work purposes; and maintains the necessary communication with other departments and services responsible for providing flight information.
The role also includes assisting passengers with the use of technical equipment installed at Sofia Airport, such as automated passport control systems and automated boarding pass control systems.
The Information Agent also supports the communication of relevant flight information to passengers in the event of an emergency situation at Sofia Airport.
