Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Java/Spring Boot, .NET/C#, or Node.js/TypeScript, depending on the assignment.
- Deliver clean, secure, well-tested, and documented code.
- Collaborate remotely with Swiss IT agencies and their project teams.
- Investigate technical issues and improve application performance.
- Independently manage agreed deliverables and communicate progress, time spent, and blockers.
- Follow agreed confidentiality and data security requirements.
Requirements and necessary skills
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong expertise in Java/Spring Boot, .NET/C#, or Node.js/TypeScript.
- Experience with backend development, REST APIs, databases, Git, and automated testing.
- Registered as self-employed or operating through your own company within the EU.
- Good written and spoken English for remote collaboration.
- Ability to work independently, solve technical problems, and communicate reliably.
- Potential availability for assignments from late January 2027.
