UBB is seeking a skilled BA/BI with expertise in core banking systems, preferably with knowledge of T24 (Temenos) data architecture.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in understanding and analysing business requirements, collaborating with stakeholders,
and implementing solutions that align with the organization's goals.
Your role will be:
• Act as a partner for different business domains in their data-driven transformation. You coach them to connect their strategy to the potential of advanced data analytics by being the bridge between the data scientists and your business stakeholders.
• Help identify opportunities, translate business needs into well-scoped AI cases, and guide these initiatives end-to-end through delivery and operationalization
• Establish and maintain an efficient process that enables business integrators to support business partners in operationalizing AI use cases
• Senior BI, lead and manage the Business Integrator function
- Provide direction, guidance and priorities to Business Integrators to ensure effective support to business partners.
- Coordinate and oversee the work of Business Integrators across AI cases, ensuring alignment with agreed ways of working and stakeholder expectations.
- Develop the capabilities, collaboration and delivery discipline of the Business Integrator team, while safeguarding the quality and consistency of their deliverables.
• Transform/translate the business requirements into an accessible data pipeline (functional/business analysis). Performing requirements analysis related to the relevant data projects
• Guide AI cases end-to-end
- Follow up a portfolio of AI initiatives from intake through delivery to BAU
- Coordinate and align with data scientists, IT, Compliance, Risk and other parties
- Monitor progress, anticipate issues and escalate constructively when needed
• Shape and scope AI initiatives
- Facilitate structured business analysis and problem definition
- Translate business questions into concrete, well-scoped AI cases
- Define expected value, success criteria, risks and constraints together with business stakeholders
• Ensure quality and governance
- Guide stakeholders through KBC’s AI governance and inform about risk frameworks
- Ensure informed business decision-making on model deployment and use
- Support setup of BAU responsibilities (model owner, follow-up, documentation)
• Coordinate the document and the conceptual functional/busness analysis with the business applicant. Responsible for the quality delivery of the functional/business analysis to the IT developer
• Participate in data and AI related projects
You are the right candidate if:
• A master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in economics, business, engineering, law, data or a related field
• Previous experience in the banking sector min. 5 years
• Senior experience in business analysis, transformation, project/programme management or similar roles, preferably in financial services, data, digital or AI environments.
• Proven ability to engage senior stakeholders, translate strategic business needs into well-scoped initiatives, and steer them from intake to operationalisation.
• Experience in coordinating multidisciplinary teams or communities, with awareness of governance, risk and compliance requirements for technology, data or AI initiatives.
