ProCredit Bank is currently seeking a qualified and responsible candidate for the position of Legal Advisor.
Responsibilities:
- Drafting and reviewing agreements with external suppliers while safeguarding the bank's interests and regulatory requirements
- Providing legal opinions on consumer lending processes, agreements, consumer rights, and other relevant legal matters
- Verifying the collateral and the execution of the necessary conditions for loan disbursement
- Preparing legal opinions and providing consultations on various legal cases across the bank's operations
Requirements and necessary qualifications:
- Law degree
- Fluent working English
- Experience in the field of trade and civil legislation
- Previous working experience in the banking sector, another financial institution, or hands-on work with regulatory requirements under the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA), GDPR, and related frameworks will be considered an advantage
- Interest in technology-related legal matters, operational resilience, outsourcing, digitalization initiatives, and the evolving regulatory framework applicable to the financial sector will be considered an advantage
- Familiarity with legislative specifications in the field of consumer loans will be considered an advantage
- Responsible approach, attention to detail, and understanding of business dynamics
- A proactive attitude in organizing the work process and task prioritization skills
- A motivated and goal-oriented approach
