We are looking for Billing Analyst to undertake billing operations in the Shared Services. Well count on you to issue invoices with a high degree of accuracy to guarantee our revenue without collection issues. Your goal will be to ensure we bill our customers correctly. The role involves scrutinizing billing data, suggesting improvements to the billing process to ensure that invoicing is accurate and punctual.
You should feel comfortable working with other teams to ensure you have the right details. This role includes little supervision of a small team.
The perfect candidate should possess exceptional analytical skills, pay close attention to details, and be capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
General Responsibilities
Verify the assigned reason codes based on customer documentation and distribute incoming chargebacks to the correct Verification Experts
Develop track and tracing reporting for performance and escalation purposes
Actively support Account Receivable to get missing chargeback data complete at either customers, internal database systems or at other departments
Coordinate the chargeback work in process with the other stakeholders in the verification flow to ensure fast resolution
Drive for cycle time improvements and support actions that minimize/eliminate new deductions at customers
Support software and process improvements in order to get verification cycle time within the goals outlined per reason code as set by management
Develop resolutions to problems of limited scope according company's processes and procedures
Provide financial analysis on monthly basis for open and closed chargebacks
Responsible for the update of chargeback procedure
Organize internal meetings to track the progress and provide support if needed
Perform internal trainings for the chargeback process for other teams as required
Lead escalation meetings
Support integrations of new companies
Develop metrics around chargebacks
Work on standardization of the process and global alignment
Work on developing escalation process based on reason codes
Develop standardized reporting
Experience / Qualifications
A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands

Recommend process improvements to ensure accurate and timely invoicing.

Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Sales and customers.
Generate and distribute billing reports, statements, and invoices.
Prepare and present analytical reports.
Maintain accurate and complete billing records and documentation.
Assist with other accounting and finance functions as needed.
Support monthly and quarterly audits and clean ups.
Requirements and skills
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field Proven experience as a Billing Analyst or similar accounting role or a related field
Strong understanding of accounting and billing principles and practices
Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to analyze billing data and identify trends and issues
Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office software
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication ability
Organizational and time-management skills
