Summary of Role
The Test Lead is required to support the Test Manager for the testing of a number of core business projects to support the Apex business globally.

The Role:
QA Specialist, required to support the Test Manager for the testing of a number of core business projects to support the Apex business globally. This will include the following areas of activity, but will not be limited to:

Key duties and responsibilities:

• Develop, communicate and enforce the Test Strategy for allocated projects, ensuring that the pre-agreed Exit Criteria and Quality Gates are achieved;
• Provide effective test management and guidance to globally dispersed IT and business testers;
• Be hands on with the ability to assist at any level to achieve project goals;
• Work with business teams to obtain test results, test evidence and obtain UAT sign off;
• Ensure that testing is carried out in an auditable, traceable and repeatable manner;
• Run defect triage meetings and work with relevant team members to ensure that the most important issues are resolved in a timely manner;
• Ability to work with and communicate at all levels within the organization, from highly technical team members;
• Ensure that project deliverables are completed within agreed cost, timelines and resource budgets, are signed off;
• Ensure that all teams adhere to quality guidelines to ensure quality deliverables;
• Continually contribute to the developing testing process and support the Test Policy with all parties;
• Proactively aim to achieve personal and team utilization targets;
• Have good people management skills, acts as a role model for continuous learning and development, challenges others to reflect and learn;
• Excellent verbal and written communication and stakeholder management skills and ability to build strong working relationships at senior management level;
• Must be a confident self-starter with a can do, will do attitude and ability act on own initiative;
• Ability to think outside-the-box and question and challenge other team members;
• Be able to manage and coordinate globally dispersed technical and non-technical teams;
• Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effort accordingly;
• Ability to travel internationally at short notice.

Изисквания и необходими умения

Must Have:
• 4 years testing experience;
• Have exposure to manual, automated and non-functional testing;
• Lead projects from QA perspective;
• Be very flexible as tasks and responsibilities may change;
• Very strong organisational skills and multi-tasking abilities;
• Good knowledge of Jira and report and metric gathering and reporting;
• ISTQB Certification (or equivalent);
• Worked in a Cloud / Citrix environment.
Nice To Have:
• Experience with MS Azure;
• Worked in a test team that services a financial organization;
• Finance / Funds Administration exposure;
• Have worked in a number of industries and not focused on one domain;
• Good understanding of infrastructure, hardware and networks;
• Reasonable understanding of performance and automation testing concepts and tools.
